ITunes
iTUNES is a media player and online library, launched in 2001 by Apple. The platform enabled customers to either buy or rent music and TV programmes. iTunes USA , iTunes UK and the other international iTunes stores all offer a different catalogue of programmes.
DOCTOR WHO ON iTUNES
From July 2008, iTunes USA had the first three seasons of the new series available; this was the first time that Doctor Who could be purchased as a download.
By August 2008 a very small selection of digital copies of Classic serials was also made available via the iTunes Store US, many of which had not yet been released on DVD. Only the second, third, fourth and sixth Doctors were represented. Each story cost $7.96, or individual episodes could be purchased for $1.99.

By March 2009, iTunes UK released a small selection of Classic episodes, but only Pertwee and Tom Baker; the core list was mostly an exact duplication of the choice offered by iTunes USA above, but with several additional titles.
We don't have a full list of what was available, but these were some of the titles:

On 11 October 2013 iTunes was the only official platform from which the newly-recovered second Doctor serials The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear were available to purchase (the missing third episode of the Yeti story was supplied as a tele-snap slide show).

By 2014, iTunes had most if not ALL the Classic serials available to rent or own on both the US and UK platforms.
Also added to the list were the DVD editions of The Underwater Menace (with tele-snaps) (from 27 October 2015) and The Power of the Daleks (animated) (from November 2016). Then from 24 November 2017, the newly-animated release of Shada could also be downloaded.

It's not known exactly how many stories have been available on the site over the years, as some have presumably been removed when the rights expired. The current list (as at September 2019) has the following 47 stories, including ones with animation or tele-snaps (marked #):
"The Best of …"
There is also a second menu of stories called The Best of… (although it's debatable that the selection given for the sixth Doctor was suitable for this title!), which was a set package of three or four stories per Doctor, some of which were not available to purchase as individual stories (per the list above). The second Doctor set included The Ice Warriors, with the two animated episodes from the DVD:
