  • It was not sold anywhere in its original PAL colour format. The PAL tapes of eps 2 and 3 had been wiped by 1973.
  • For Whose Doctor Who (broadcast on 3 April 1977) a black and white clip was used from The Claws of Axos as that format was the best copy available at the time.
  • The NTSC tapes sent to Canada were recovered by April 1981.
