- 24 January 1984: The Tom Baker stories begin with Robot.
- 1986: The station screens the 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories and the Peter Davison era. But they drop the series at the end of the year.
- 30 July 1994: After eight years with no Doctor Who, WXEL schedules a special 6-hour screening of all the "regeneration" episodes - An Unearthly Child 1, The War Games 10, Spearhead from Space 1, Planet of the Spiders 6, Robot 1, Logopolis 4, Castrovalva 1, The Caves of Androzani 4, The Twin Dilemma 1, Time and the Rani 1.
- July to September 1994: WXEL screens four stories: The Time Meddler, The Tomb of the Cybermen, Terror of the Autons, and The Ark in Space on Saturdays, two episodes per night from 10 to 11pm.
- From late 1994 to mid-1995, WXEL airs Jon Pertwee stories, two episodes per night from 10-11pm. This was followed from 11pm to midnight, by a separate run of random stories: The Chase, The Mind Robber, Day of the Daleks, The Deadly Assassin, Black Orchid, Arc of Infinity, The King's Demons, Attack of the Cybermen, Vengeance on Varos, Battlefield and Ghost Light.
- 17 December 1994: As part of its December Pledge drive, WXEL is the first US station to show Invasion of the Dinosaurs complete with the b/w copy of part one.
- 18 March 1995: WXEL aired the documentaries 30 Years in the TARDIS (twice!) and Visions: By Fans For Fans (for the first time?). The same night, a run of the Tom Baker stories from seasons 12-14 commenced (Robot to The Deadly Assassin), one full story showing weekly on Saturdays.
- Visions: By Fans For Fans is repeated three more times between 1995 and 1996.
- July - August 1995: Mid-way through the run of Tom Baker stories, WXEL takes a break from the fourth Doctor and screens The Seeds of Death, The Curse of Fenric, and on 12 August 1995, all six episodes of Planet of the Daleks, including one of the first-ever showings on US TV of the b/w part 3.
- The remaining season 14 and 15 Tom Baker serials (The Face of Evil to The Invasion of Time) are shown, and the run concludes on 4 November 1995.
