  • The 6 July 1979 issue of the industry magazine Back Stage reported the sale of the Tom Baker stories to WAST. However no airdates can be found.
  • The station is listed in the August 1981 Celestial Toyroom, North American edition as having bought the newly-created omnibus versions.

Channel 17 (PBS)


  • The Tom Baker stories air as early as 17 October 1982, Sunday nights from 6:00 to 7:30.
  • 23 November 1983: The Five Doctors airs.
  • Late 1984: According to a letter in DWM issue 96 (cover dated January 1985) from a reader in Berkshire County, Pittsfield, Massachussetts, Season 21 (but without The Twin Dilemma) aired on one of his local channels - 17 or 57 (see WGBY) - by late 1984.
