The movie was also apparently released on video tape (with Hindi subtitles?) that same year, but we have been unable to verify this either. It's possible the date on IMDB is for the tape ... or the reference to a tape is an error and is instead that of the TV broadcast?

Of note, the [[New Series]] has been available in India since '''May 2015'''; none of the news reports about this mention the TV movie being shown ten years earlier.
