- In the 16 August 1978 issue of Variety magazine (see United States--1978), "ATLANTA" is listed as being one of 17 cities to have been sold the Tom Baker stories. We do not have any further details about these screenings; if you can assist with the station name and dates, please contact us.
- 28 February 1987: Newly cast seventh Doctor, Sylvester McCoy joins Jon Pertwee and John Nathan-Turner at Mercer University in Atlanta, with the travelling Doctor Who USA Tour, where they participate in pledge drives.
