DOCTOR WHO IN ICELAND

As far as we can tell, the classic Doctor Who series did not screen on any local Icelandic television stations.

A run of "omnibus" editions of Tom Baker stories did however screen on the US Armed Forces Network AFRTS station at the NATO Base in Keflavik in 1986 - see that profile for details.

In the late 1980s, British satellite channels such as Super Channel and BBC Prime, both of which aired Doctor Who (see Cable and Satellite), were available in the country.
