- For reason unknown, this was the only serial of this batch that was not purchased by New Zealand. (Were the programme purchasers put off by the song?)
- The sale to Singapore was actually "back-catalogue", as they had already started screening Jon Pertwee stories by this time. Since Singapore had received its prints from New Zealand for all the other stories at this time, where did its copy of The Gunfighters come from?
