The Entertainment Channel

  • 1982: It was reported that The Entertainment Channel had purchased the Peter Davison stories in mid-1982. They would have been the first station to broadcast season 19. However, Doctor Who is not mentioned in any print ads.
  • The Entertainment Channel merged with the ARTS Network in 1984 to form the Arts & Entertainment Network (aka A&E).
