Resistance is Useless (aka A Doctor Who Retrospective) was a 30 minute documentary made by the BBC. It aired on BBC2 on Friday, 3 January 1992 at 6:50pm, as an introduction to a series of Airdates in the UK (BBC repeats) repeats (one story for each of the seven Doctors) playing on the channel from 3 January 1992 to 14 May 1993. (It was followed by a repeat of The Time Meddler.)

It was hosted by "The Anorak", and featured lots of clips.

Listing for the documentary in Florida Today, August 1992; note the incorrect synopsis

The short aired on several PBS stations in the United States (such as on KUED, on 22 August 1992; KTEH, 26 August 1992; WKPC, 1 September 1992; Maryland Public Television on 5 December 1992; Iowa Public Television, 7 May 1993; WQEX, on 29 October 2000, plus many many others in the 1990s and 2000s).

Some of the US newspapers incorrectly described it as being an interview with Dalek creator Terry Nation, who did not even appear!

It also aired in New Zealand, on 26 December 1993, also followed by the special repeat of The Time Meddler.
