Doctor Who aired in these cities, on these channels:

Las Vegas

Channel (unknown) (PBS)

  • 1978: A station in "LAS VEGAS" is named in the 16 August 1978 issue of Variety magazine (see United States--1978) as purchasing the Tom Baker stories. We have been unable to identify which station this was.
    • The only PBS station operating at the time was KLVX, channel 10.
  • 1980: According to Starlog magazine (issue 39, cover date October 1980), Las Vegas channel KFFU screened the Tom Baker stories from mid-1980. As far as we can tell, there is no station in Las Vegas with that call sign; the closest match would be the then-independent (now Fox-affiliated) station KVVU-TV (Channel 5). (If you squint, KLVX (see above) could - but at a stretch - be read as KFFU...?)
