  • It was viewed by the censors on 13 September 1966 - and rejected due to its horror content. The ABC was not able to screen it, therefore it did not make any payments to the BBC.
  • Accordingly, the other countries that were buying the series at this time - Barbados, Zambia, New Zaland, Sierra Leone and Singapore - were not able to purchase the serial, as they relied on Australia to cover all the rights costs.
