  • 11 September 1978: The Tom Baker stories begin, Monday-Friday at 4:30pm. The series was regularly preempted for ABC Afterschool Specials and playoff baseball.
  • 28 December 1978: The series takes a break.
  • 11 February 1979: A day after the station goes 24 hours, the series returns at 4:30am. Episodes were often aired out of order. After several complaints about this appeared in local newspapers, the series was dropped.
  • 4 July 1983: After a four year gap, the series returned, two episodes edited together, weeknights at 7:00. The first story to air was The Invasion of Time, followed by Robot.
  • 16 September 1983: The series is dropped again, missing out on the nationwide screening of The Five Doctors.
