  • 26 April 1981: The Tom Baker stories premiere, Sundays at 10am. An entire story is shown each week, with credits in tact. Bizarrely, the station screens the "Key to Time" stories first.
  • 5 October 1981: A Monday-Thursday run is added, at 5:30pm.
  • 6 September 1982: After a summer break, the weekday airings return, now at 6:00pm.
  • 28 November 1983: The Jon Pertwee stories begin.
  • 13 January 1984: A Friday airing is added.
  • 2 February 1985: The complete package of Jon Pertwee stories begins.
  • 2 September 1985: The weekday airings move to 10:30pm.
  • 12 March 1986: The weeknight airings move to 11:00pm.
  • 23 March 1986: The 17 repackaged William Hartnell stories screened.
  • 5 October 1986: The 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories return.
  • 2-23 August 1987: The Trial of a Time Lord interrupts the Tom Baker run. The episodes are billed as "Robots of Ravalox,", "Mindwarp," "Terror of Vervoids" and "Trial of a Time Lord."
  • 30 October 1988: William Hartnell premieres, but is interrupted by season 25.
  • 4 March 1990: Season 26 interrupts the Tom Baker run.
  • By 1998, KRMA was one of only five stations in the US still screening the series.


Fan clubs

  • Denver was the home of the Doctor Who Fan Club of America, run by Ron Katz. The club fanzine was The WHOVIAN TIMES

  • 5 June 1992: Tom Baker returns to Denver, originally Friday nights then Sunday nights.
  • 1 January 1993: Sunday becomes Friday again, then Saturday with Friday repeats.
  • 1994/1999: During that period the repackaged 24 Jon Pertwee stories aired a few times.
