Doctor Who was available from neighboring countries, such as France; De Voorpost, 21 April 1989

Doctor Who did not air on any terrestrial stations in BELGIUM, but viewers could see the programme by tuning into transmissions from neighbouring countries such as France, the Netherlands and Germany. Transmissions directly from the BBC were also possible to receive from across the English Channel.

And from January 1987, the series was available via the UK satellite station Super Channel, and in the 1990s on BBC Prime.
