  • mid-1982: It was reported in an Australian fanzines that The Entertainment Channel had purchased the Peter Davison stories. They would have been the first station to broadcast season 19. However, Doctor Who is not mentioned in any of their print ads.
  • The Entertainment Channel merged with the ARTS Network in 1984 to form the Arts & Entertainment Network (A&E).
