Variety, 16 August 1978 | KVVU? was one of the first stations to purchase the Tom Baker stories |
Unknown (KVVU?)
- 1978: Las Vegas is named in the 16 August 1978 issue of Variety magazine (see United States--1978) as purchasing the Tom Baker stories. We have been unable to determine which station this was. It may have been KVVU - see below.
KVVU
Channel 5 (Independent)
- 1980: According to Starlog magazine (issue 39, cover date October 1980), Las Vegas channel "KFFU" (sic) screened the Tom Baker stories from mid-1980. This is a typo, and actually refers to the then-independent (now Fox-affiliated) station KVVU. (It's possible that KVVU was also the station identified by Variety in 1978 - see above.)
