- 24 January 1984: The Tom Baker stories begin with Robot.
- 1986: The station screens the 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories and the Peter Davison era. But they drop the series at the end of the year.
- 30 July 1994: After eight years with no Doctor Who, WXEL schedules a special 6-hour screening of all the "regeneration" episodes - An Unearthly Child 1, The War Games 10, Spearhead from Space 1, Planet of the Spiders 6, Robot 1, Logopolis 4, Castrovalva 1, The Caves of Androzani 4, The Twin Dilemma 1, Time and the Rani 1.
- July to September 1994: WXEL screens four stories: The Time Meddler, The Tomb of the Cybermen, Terror of the Autons, and The Ark in Space on Saturdays, two episodes per night from 10 to 11pm.
- From October 1994 to March 1995, the station screens (twice weekly) a further selection of stories: The Chase, The Mind Robber, Day of the Daleks, The Deadly Assassin, Black Orchid, Arc of Infinity, The King's Demons, Attack of the Cybermen, Vengeance on Varos, Battlefield and Ghost Light.
- 17 December 1994: As part of its December Pledge drive, WXEL is the first US station to show Invasion of the Dinosaurs complete with the b/w copy of part one.
- 18 March 1995: WXEL aired the documentaries 30 Years in the TARDIS (twice!) and Visions: By Fans For Fans (for the first time?). The same night, a run of the Tom Baker stories from seasons 12-15 commenced, one full story showing weekly on Saturdays.
- Visions: By Fans For Fans is repeated three more times between 1995 and 1996.
- 12 August 1995: Mid-way through the run of Tom Baker stories, WXEL screens all six episodes of Planet of the Daleks, including the b/w part 3.
- 4 November 1995: The run of Tom Baker stories ends.
- 11 November to 16 December 1995: Multi-Doctor serials, including An Unearthly Child, The Three Doctors, and The Two Doctors are shown.
- 9 December 1995: K9 and Company airs, prior to that day's regular weekly story (which may have been The Five Doctors?).
- 1996: Further Tom Baker serials from seasons 16-18 are shown.
- 29 March 1996: Sylvester McCoy is the special guest during the "Seven Hours with the Seventh Doctor" pledge night, during which Remembrance of the Daleks, The Greatest Show in the Galaxy and Silver Nemesis are shown.
- Soon after Jon Pertwee's death on 20 May 1996, WXEL screened a special tribute to the actor:

- The 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories were then shown again as part of the tribute through until mid-1997.
- 23 August 1997: Castrovalva is shown. (It's not clear, but this may have been a one-off and the only Davison serial to be shown.)
- 29 November 1998: The station celebrated the series' 35th anniversary with a special event screening of two "fully restored" Pertwee stories (see newspaper clipping above).
