SCOTLAND is part of the United Kingdom. As such, it received BBC transmissions from London.
However, from time to time its regional station BBC Scotland's daily schedules differed to make way for local and alternative programming, and series such as Doctor Who were sometimes shown on dates or times that were different to the rest of the network:
- Castrovalva 1 = was shown in an earlier timeslot
- Planet of the Daleks 1993 repeat = was shown on BBC2 rather than BBC1
- BBC Choice 1998 repeats = aired additional stories
