A small selection of black and white William Hartnell serials aired on BSB's Galaxy Channel, starting from Sunday, 1 April 1990 at 5:30pm, with each Sunday episode repeated the following Saturday at 1:30pm.

Galaxy's regular "31 West" programme was renamed "31 Who" for a special Doctor Who Weekend, which aired Saturday to Sunday, 22-23 September 1990. It was hosted by 31 West's regular presenters Debbie Flint and Shyama Perera, with ex-Doctor Who producer John Nathan-Turner as guest host.
The weekend-long schedule featured screenings of several complete Doctor Who stories, plus some of the rare "orphan" episodes, along with documentaries and a fan quiz (featuring one of the editors of this very website!).
