- Doctor Who returned to its former home for a three year run of repeats, from 15 September 2003 until Friday, 3 February 2006, during which the ABC screened (Monday to Thursday, at 6.00pm) all available serials, from A to 7P (this did not include the TV Movie).
- Each episode was preceded by a title caption card saying "BACK TO THE FUTURE".
- The first episode of An Unearthly Child followed the premiere of George Negus Tonight, which featured a capsule history of the series.
- GEORGE NEGUS TONIGHT CLIP
- The black and white first instalment of WWW had its first 'free to air' screening.
Due to rights issues with the estate of Terry Nation, the following serials scripted by him or which featured the Daleks could not screen:
- The War Games (albeit being a fleeting cameo only, the appearance of a Dalek at the Doctor's trial was enough to exclude this entire story from the package)
- Day of the Daleks
- Frontier in Space
- Planet of the Daleks
- Destiny of the Daleks
- Resurrection of the Daleks
- Revelation of the Daleks
- Remembrance of the Daleks
This run also included several oddities with the prints supplied:
- BB was the recently restored BBC VHS version.
- BBB, CCC, EEE, were in black and white.
- JJJ was the recolourised VHS version.
- WWW episode 3 was the longer early edit.
- XXX part 1 aired uncut for the first time.
- 5C part two was an earlier edit, with extended scenes (as on the VHS release).
- 6A and 6R aired unedited in Australia for the first time.
- 6K aired in its four-part edition, albeit with the Dalek scenes removed, due to the same rights issues as noted above.
- Part 7 or 8 of The Trial of a Time Lord aired without music or sound effect, and was erroneously credited as being written "by Pip & Jane Baker".

Block 29: "REPEATS" (SCI-FI) ---- August 2011 to ????
Repeats | 4A---- and onwards… |
- Starting on Wednesday, 17 August 2011, Doctor Who returned to Australian airwaves on the SCI-FI Channel. The repeat run commenced with the Tom Baker episodes, two episodes back to back each night, airing weekdays. (The same pair of episodes screened several times each day.)
- To celebrate the occasion, the station held a "DOCTOR WHO TWEETUP" in four eastern cities.
- The Baker run had concluded by mid December 2011 (on 14 December?).
- After a break of a few months, from 19 March 2012 the station began screening the Peter Davison stories, again two episodes back to back (uncut), and repeated at various times throughout the day.
