  • 28 June 1980: Tom Baker episodes begin, Saturdays at 9:00am.
  • 28 September 1981: The station changes its call letters from WAST to WNYT, and moves its affiliation from CBS to NBC.
  • By August 1982, the series airs episodically rather than in omnibus form, and at the much earlier time of 7:30am.
