- The only sales were to non-Commonwealth countries that broadcast in NTSC or black and white.
- It was not sold anywhere in its original PAL format. The tapes had been wiped by the end of 1973.
- It was dubbed into Arabic.
- It was reissued in black and white only from March 1985: United States, New Zealand, Australia and Canada all aired the serial in that format in the mid-1980s.
- An off-air recording from a transmission in the United States circa 1977 was used to restore the colour images.
