- 24 January 1984: The Tom Baker stories begin with Robot.
- 1986: Screened the 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories.
- 1990s: WXEL shows several episodes never before screened in the US, such as part three of Planet of the Daleks.
- 17 December 1994: WXEL was one of the (if not the) first stations to show Invasion of the Dinosaurs complete with the b/w copy of part one.
- 1994: WXEL produced the documentary Visions: By Fans For Fans
- 1996: Screened the 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories again, around this time.
- 29 March 1996: Remembrance of the Daleks, The Greatest Show in the Galaxy and Silver Nemesis premiere during a pledge night.
- 1996: Soon after Jon Pertwee's death on 20 May 1996, WXEL screened a special tribute to the actor:
