Doctor Who did not air on any terrestrial stations in BELGIUM, but viewers could see the programme by tuning into cable or terrestrial transmissions from neighbouring countries such as the Netherlands (in 1975-76, and 1985-86); France (in 1989), and Germany (1989-1995).
Under the correct atmospheric conditions, and with specially modified aerials, some viewers could tune into transmissions directly from the BBC propagating across the English Channel.
But from 24 March 1987, Doctor Who was available via the UK satellite station Super Channel, and in the 1990s on BBC Prime.
