- 1978: Las Vegas is named in the 16 August 1978 issue of Variety magazine (see United States--1978) as purchasing the Tom Baker stories. We have been unable to determine which station this was. The only PBS station operating at the time was KLVX, channel 10.
- 1980: According to Starlog magazine (issue 39, cover date October 1980), Las Vegas channel KFFU screened the Tom Baker stories from mid-1980. As far as we can tell, there is no station in Las Vegas with that call sign; the closest match would be the then-independent (now Fox-affiliated) station KVVU-TV (Channel 5). (If you squint, KLVX (see above) could - but at a stretch - be read as KFFU...?)
